Celebrating Australian contemporary art

Integrating contemporary Australian art into the everyday experience of campus life is a proud tradition at Murdoch University. Art has the potential to bridge our worlds, harness the wisdom of our different views, engage our imagination to explore new ways of thinking, and create experiences that can be shared by all people in our community.

About the collection

Murdoch University's Art Collection is a vibrant cultural asset that reflects and celebrates the creativity and diversity of Australian contemporary visual arts practice. The collection is displayed across our campuses in Perth, Rockingham and Mandurah, including our new Art Gallery which hosts regular exhibitions throughout the year.
